“How can I contribute in achieving gender justice as a political science student?”

Women and men have equal rights in the twenty-first century. Slowly but surely, the public’s perception is shifting. People are now more conscious of their rights and their options in a free society. It has been discovered that when men and women hold equal positions and participate equally, society advances and establishes a milestone. When a community achieves gender equality, everyone benefits from the same privileges and receives comparable opportunities in terms of political participation, health, employment, and education. A family is the best place to learn, grow, and contribute greatly when both male and female members are treated equally. A nation must value each gender equally to advance in the right direction. A better society is achieved.

When both genders are given equal opportunity, society as a whole develops more successfully. Equal rights in governance, politics, the economy, the workforce, and other areas will undoubtedly raise our society to a new plane. The social stigma associated with women staying at home has changed. Girls now face an equal level of competition from boys in the classroom. Additionally, they are paving the way for historic developments in their fields. Nowadays, women want to be financially independent before they get married. They gain the self-assurance they need to resist oppression and choose better options for themselves.

Women were expected to take care of everything at home while men went out to work to support their families, according to the archaic social structure. This has been done for centuries during dangerous times outside. Women can now take the initiative, pursue their passions, obtain an education, bring economic balance to their families, and share the responsibility of raising a family with men because the times have changed and we have successfully made our environment considerably safer. In the long run, this will also hasten and improve the economic development of a nation.
