The current situation of Filipino women is that they are underrepresented in government and do not hold leadership positions. This issue can be solved by increasing the number of Filipino women in government, reducing carbon emissions by half, and encouraging them to run for office.
Many organizations, including UN Women, the World Bank Group, the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Gender Equality Network (GEN), the Asian Pacific Women’s Development Centre (APWDC), and others, have identified this issue.
To address this issue, we must increase the representation of Filipino women in government, giving them more opportunities to become leaders and make decisions about policies that affect their lives.
We also need to cut carbon emissions by 50% to protect our environment from the effects of climate change. This will help protect our food supply from being destroyed by floods or other weather disasters like hurricanes or typhoons, which can cause death and destruction if left unchecked by humans or nature.
